The Cherokees have a story of the battle that happens inside of us.
According to a Cherokee story there are two wolves continually fighting inside us

The first is Evil, made from anger and greed, sorrow, regret,
arrogance and false pride, ego and self pity,
resentment and need and all of the foolishness man has inside.
The second is Good, it is joy, faith and love, hope, humility,
kindness and peace. it is benevolence, serenity, the gifts from above.
Which wolf wins?
The choice is yours,
The winner is the wolf you
feed the most..
